Hi, my name is Kathy and I am the egg donation coordinator for the Gift of Life programme in association with Sims Clinic. I would like to thank you on behalf of all of our recipients for taking the time to read this website and considering giving the chance of life and family to our childless couples.There are hundreds of couples in Ireland longing to become parents. The current situation regarding the availability of egg donors has and will prevent many of these couples having a child. Sims fertility clinic have established this programme and website to raise the awareness of female infertility and to try and inform the women of Ireland how they can help.
The couples in need of donor eggs in Ireland are so because either they cannot produce eggs themselves or have bad egg quality. This can be due to a variety of reasons such as early menopause or the lady may have had treatment that has depleted their eggs, they may have met their partner late in life or have lost the ability to produce eggs from having had their ovaries removed.
The process of egg donation is anonymous and should you choose to find out more about it or proceed with helping a childless couple achieve their dream to become parents your details will not be revealed to the recipient couple.
As the process is confidential we would like to thank you on behalf of all of our recipient couples who are not in a position to speak for themselves. Be in no doubt that if you do decide to help these couples by donating your eggs, you will change their lives for the better.
